Mission:

 

The Travel & Tourism Division promotes the area as a leading tourist destination and a relocation area through its partnership with the Mount Airy Tourism Development Authority and the Tourism Partnership. This Division coordinates the Chambers annual Autumn Leaves Festival and supports other local events, festivals and activities that appeal to out of town guests as well as locals.

Autumn Leaves Festival

Host the 41st Annual Autumn Leaves Festival.  This event benefits the local economy while celebrating the unique music culture and diversity of Surry County.  The goals of this committee are:
 
 *  Provide a unique cultural and educational experience for locals and tourist
 
 *  To provide opportunities for local organizations and the Chamber to  raise revenues and give volunteers a sense of community pride.
 
 *  To provide fun activities and opportunities which have a broad appeal to  locals  and out of town guest.
