Candidate will be responsible for administering the company’s quality assurance program. Ensure that the quality assurance procedures and policies of the company are coordinated. Direct and supervises the audit functions of corporate auditors, directs and supervises the Central Lab manager and the Central lab functions. Supply technical assistance for the development of quality assurance procedures that will ensure conformance to the standards. Must be an assertive problem solver that develops procedures to correct problems and interact with people at various levels to establish standards. Provide sock expertise to outside labs, such as Wal-Mart’s Consumer Testing lab and provides training. Liaison with key customers to understand required protocols required of venders as well as any applicable changes to currently practiced protocols. Must possess strong apparel manufacturing knowledge. Knowledge of textiles, embellishments, garment wash/dyeing, testing, patterns, design a must and possess a strong background in quality processes and systems, statistics and quality management. Qualified candidate should have a four year college degree or equivalent, five years experience in field of textiles, one year minimum experience in the sock or related industry. Demonstrate leadership, management ability and work in a participative environment. Travel required. |
